Search Site WE: Search Within a Website or Domain
Search Site WE is a free Chrome add-on developed by DW-dev that provides users with the ability to search within a specific subdomain or an entire domain using a selected search engine. With a new green "magnifying-glass" button on the main toolbar, users can easily access the add-on's features.
To search within a site, simply click on the toolbar button to open the popup panel. From there, users can enter their search terms into the text box and click on one of the search buttons. The text box is automatically filled with the previous search, but if text is selected on the page before opening the panel, the selected text will be used instead.
Additionally, Search Site WE offers context menu items that allow users to search within a site by selecting text on a web page and right-clicking to choose the "Search Site WE" menu item. The add-on also provides options in the Options page to specify default search settings.
For quick access, users can use the Alt+K keyboard shortcut to open the toolbar button popup panel.
